Silent John — DJ, music producer, and puppet builder — exhibits an array of hip hop, soul, funk, and breaks in his style of turntablism.
Originally from San Jose, Silent John toured the summer of 2004 with legendary artist KRS-ONE, and DJ'd for a number of emcees in the rap game, performing at various out-of-state showcases, music festivals, and clubs. He has also partnered with independent clothing lines and boutiques on the West Coast for exclusive mixtape releases.
His past production credits include SHOWTIME's Power, video games such as Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and the Survios VR game Electronauts. Silent John continues to advance his skills as a certified audio engineer and technician — and, alongside all of that, builds foam puppets and performs with the hip-hop puppet crew The Mighty Giants.
